In It For The Long Run.
Jim has completed four IronMan triathlons and 19 Marathons, plus countless shorter distance events. He’s also competed in the Birkebeiner XC ski race, CrossFit Games Masters competition and once tried out for American Gladiator.
Life In Addition to Elite Athletic Development.
Along with his wife Karen, Jim is the proud parent of two athletic children and an extremely athletic Labrador. He loves time with his family, traveling, racing of any type, cooking, boating and a variety of outdoor pursuits.
Life Before Elite Athletic Development.
After 15 years of managing restaurants such as Bay Street, Bennigan’s and Boston Market, Jim went back to school to finish his BS in business. Growing up in an athletic family, (his grandfather is in Bowling Green University’s Hall of Fame and his mom ran 26 marathons) Jim decided to combine his love of sports with his experience of opening and growing businesses. In 2006, he took what originally was a marketing class project and opened EAD.
