ETC = Elite Training Camp is a mix of essential movement instruction, cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. The perfect class for athletes who likes Fitness Boot Camp-style training, is game for a new challenge, or is new to our health & fitness community.

MetCon = MetCon WOD is a constantly-varied mix of CrossFit workouts designed to develop the body’s three energy systems. The perfect class for athletes who are committed to their health & fitness goals, and are ready for a challenge.

S & P = Strength & Power WOD is a strength-biased workout designed to establish a solid foundation for all sports movement, and enhance athletic performance. The perfect class for athletes who like Olympic & Power Lifting, and who want increased speed, agility, quickness and strength.

Sport Yoga = Sport Yoga is a one-hour, power flow class designed to increase mobility & flexibility, prevent sports-related injury, and improve post-training recovery. This class is ideal for every EAD / CFAH / CFAX athlete.

M & R = Mobility & Recovery WOD is a mix of core stability progression, band stretching, self-myofascial release, dynamic stretching and more to support recovery and prevent injury. The perfect class for every EAD / CFAH / CFAX athlete.

Advance WOD = Advanced Level WOD is open to EAD athletes who have completed Movement Essentials™ (or its predecssor, On Ramp) and have demonstrated a high degree of technical competency and performance. Check with Coach Jim or Coach Josh for qualifying standards.

CIRC Training & Open Row. Join us as we prepare for the 2012 Chicago Indoor Rowing Championships, Saturday, Feb. 25 at Chicago State University. CIRC Training will be led by an EAD Performance Coach. Open Row is an opportunity to train on your own, or complete the program posted by the EAD Performance Coaching team.

New Athlete Orientation. Learn more about the EAD / CFAH / CFAX training philosophy, get an inside view of our community, define your health & fitness goals, build  your quarterly training program, ask lots of questions (and get them all answered), and find out why our athletes get results … and how you will, too. 

New Athletes. Athletes new to our community are required to attend one of the following prior to participating in a MetCon or Strength & Power WOD:

Elite Training Camp for one full week, two partial weeks, or until the New Athlete Check Sheet is complete.

3-2-1 Go Movement Essentials  or Movement Essentials Test Out where the new athlete will learn the nine fundamental movements of CrossFit, plus another 15 or so movements used regularly in our MetCon and Strength & Power WODs. These classes are also open to existing EAD / CFAH / CFAX athletes who might like to review / brush up on key CrossFit movements. All Movement Essentials™ are held at EAD North – CFAH and are by appointment.

Youth AD = Youth Athletic Development is a great opportunity for committed student athletes to increase power, speed, agility, quickness, strength & endurance, and prep for winter and spring sports with one of our nationally-certified performance coaches.
